Does my partner have to agree to it?
Yes. Partner Stalker only works when you're both in. They accept the invite on their own phone and choose what they share, and either of you can switch it off in a tap at any time, without asking the other.
How does sharing WhatsApp, Instagram and other messages work?
You each choose which apps to include, and you each turn them on for yourself - Partner Stalker can't reach into an account you haven't connected. It runs the same both ways as the map: whatever one of you shares, the other shares too, and either of you can switch a channel off at any time.
Can I see them without them seeing me?
No, and we won't build it. Sharing runs even both ways - if one of you switches off, the map goes dark for both. That's the deal that makes it easy to say yes to.
Can I set it up on my husband's phone for him?
No. The invite has to be opened and accepted on his own device, by him. There's no hidden version of the app and no way to install it for someone else.
Does it save everywhere we've been?
Not unless you both turn history on. If you do, it keeps seven days and then deletes itself. Either of you can wipe your own history any time.
Will it kill my battery?
It updates in bursts instead of streaming, and goes quiet when you've been still for a while. Most people see 2-4% a day - about the same as a podcast episode.
Who else can see this?
